Hello!

Welcome to the 3rd week of Watchtober!

This week is inspired by that most toxic yet influential of horror writers HP Lovecraft.

Like many of you i'm sure, I spent my jr. highschool weekends not partying, but partying up with a group of close friends to play "Call of Cthulhu" a tabletop RPG akin to D&D.

Except instead of powerful wizards and warriors you play as investigative journalists and bootleggers trying to stay sane while uncovering the horrible secrets and unknowable horrors of otherworldly beings beyond human comprehension!

Of course it was many years later that I truly came to understand the depraved depths of HP Lovecraft's true horror. Namely his unfathomable racism and other terrible beliefs more frightening than anything found in the Necronomicon.

If you are fan of Lovecraft, or just curious, do yourself a favor and check out this comedic yet sobering look at this influential man behind so much horror. These were digitally sculpted a couple years ago by myself and I thought it would be fun to mold and cast a few.
